Mission 911 exists to care for individuals living in poverty in our community by connecting them with key resources to facilitate their journey towards a life of stability.

Since 2000, Mission 911 has faithfully walked alongside individuals experiencing homelessness in Corpus Christi, guided by compassion and a deep belief in the dignity and worth of every person. Through connection, prayerful care, and community-rooted support, we help our guests rebuild stability, renew their strength, and rediscover the hope and purpose that can lead them into a brighter future.

BUILD

Lasting Connections

We “Build” relationships and open pathways to systems that people have been locked out of. This isn’t charity — it’s infrastructure.

BREAK

THE CYCLE OF POVERTY

Poverty repeats. We interrupt it. "Break" is the most active, disruptive word in our vocabulary. It implies courage, intervention, and the belief that generational cycles can actually end.

BRIDGE

SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY

"Bridge" connects where someone is to where they could be. It also connects Mission 911 to the broader community we serve together.

“We stopped asking, ‘How can we house people for a night?’ and started asking, ‘How can we walk with them for life?’”

Looking Ahead: Our New Home

Mission 911 is transitioning into a new, renovated facility that will not only expand our capacity, but redefine how we serve the community. Our new location places us closer to the neighborhoods where struggling families live and give us the ability to make our services more accessible and less intimidating for those who may be hesitant to seek help.

The redesigned space will enable us to host on-site partner organizations, creating a true wraparound support hub where guests can access mental health and wellness services, addiction and recovery programs, job training, workforce development, and vital service referrals all in one location. This integrated model reduces transportation barriers, builds trust, and ensures guests can navigate the path from crisis to stability with ongoing support and dignity
