Sofia is a single mom of two, one of whom has special needs. After leaving a painful and unstable marriage, she focused on one thing: fighting for her children. She became an advocate, navigating complex school systems and support services with relentless determination.

But even the strongest need support. When Sofia came to Mission 911, she was overwhelmed, juggling housing, legal questions, and emotional strain. Our CCM team helped her access rental assistance, legal and counseling services, and educational advocacy.

Today, Sofia is not just surviving; she’s mentoring other moms who need the same hope she once searched for.
