Meet Mark
Mark was pulled into gang life at 12, beginning a long cycle of addiction and incarceration. After his final prison sentence, he made a courageous choice: to reach out for help.
When Mark came to Mission 911, he had no job, no education, and no plan, just the willingness to change. He joined us during our annual men's spiritual retreat, Walk to Siloam. He earned his first driver’s license at 40, enrolled in GED classes, and soon found full-time work with benefits.
With support from his case manager, Mark opened his first bank accounts and began building credit. Now, he’s saving toward something he never thought possible: owning a home.
